To celebrate Pancake Day, as well as start our 30th anniversary fundraising for Children’s Hospice South West, our installation manager – Ian ‘Davo’ Davidson has been cooking up a storm.
On top of the traditional lemon and sugar pancake and savoury breakfast fillings, Davo made his legendary chocolate ganache, which went down a treat with the engineers before they left for a day of installations, services and repairs.
Just for you, here’s Davo’s recipe:
600ml double cream
2 x 180g bars of Bournville chocolate
Heat slowly over a low heat until all the ingredients have melted together into a smooth, glossy mixture.
Now spread over your pancakes and add some sliced banana, or eat straight from the bowl!
