50,000th Service completed by Blue Flame for Coastline Housing

 Blue Flame Heating Solutions and Coastline Housing have reached a significant milestone within their 12 year partnership, on Tuesday 2nd September the 50,000th annual boiler service was completed.

Blue Flame who are based in Penryn and Coastline Housing based in Redruth have worked together for 12 years to deliver the HeatCare and ElecCare services for 4000+ Coastline Properties. This includes new heating and electrical installations, responding to breakdowns as well as annual safety inspections and services to these appliances.

To celebrate reaching these achievement representatives of Blue Flame and Coastline held a small celebration ceremony which included tea, coffee and cream teas for all the residents of the complex where the service was being completed. They also all received a Blue Flame goody bag. The residents were all left wondering why they were having these surprise celebrations until Blue Flame director, Paul Smith announced the lucky 50,000th Boiler Service Customer.

The ‘winner’, Mrs Johns was presented with a hamper and bouquet of flowers from Paul along with Derek Chapman the Facilities and Asset Manager for Coastline Housing. At his time with Coastline, Derek has worked alongside the Blue Flame team to help organise and manage the reports from each of the 50,000 boiler services

Paul commented “It is a great achievement to reach such a milestone with Coastline Housing and we felt it important to celebrate. For the past 12 years both Coastline and Blue Flame have worked tirelessly to improve the services for their tenants and we are all extremely proud to continue this for another 50,000 services!”

5000th Service, Mrs Johns, who was over the moon to receive her prizes said “I can’t believe that I am the 50,000th customer. The Blue Flame boys have been coming into my house for a number of years to look at my boiler and they always do a lovely job. Always polite and helpful”

This is a great achievement for everyone at both companies well done to all involved. Both companies are now going forward to reach the 100,000th service!
